~Town of Lake Lure requires boat drivers to pass a short quiz found here.
-NC requires boat drivers born on/after 1/1/1988 to complete a Boater Safety Course (from any state); options available @ NCWILDLIFE.
CANCELLATION: (3% fee; re-scheduling is free)
-Within 48 Hours, 50% of Rental
-No-Show/Day-of, 100% of Rental
WEATHER: No refund for mild weather. Severe weather prior to rental; we reschedule. Storm during rental; take shelter, we will extend if possible.
PET FRIENDLY: Yes! (Add $25 Clean-Up Fee for our crew).
MiLiTARY: Thank You For Your Service! 5% OFF Hourly, $50 OFF Multi-Day.
TOWING: (tubes, skiers, boarders) with rental boats is Illegal on Lake Lure!
Late Arrival Fee: Being on time is a MUST, we have other deliveries in various locations...10-15 minutes past rental start time $25, 15-20 minutes $50. After 20 minutes we reserve the right to leave, you forfeit rental fee.
Late Return Fee: The boat is likely going out on rental after your trip. On time return is a MUST! Use Google Maps to follow the blue dot back to your pinned location or enter the return address, do what you have to make sure you are back on time. We will give you 5 minutes, after that up to 15 minutes $50, after 15 minutes $100, more than 30 minutes $250 and Lake Lure Police will be called to escort you in. Your LATE ARRIVAL DOES NOT give you a right to stay out longer.
CHILDREN Under 13 are required to wear life-vests: Pontoons are stocked with Adult Life vests and (1 infant, 2 child up to 30lbs, & 2 youth 50-90lb) vests. If you NEED more child vests please tell us ahead of time.
Delivery Locations: (Know your pick up location ahead of time, follow parking instructions sent after booking).
CARPOOLING is a MUST anywhere in Lake Lure...PARKING IS LIMITED!!!
- 506 Memorial Highway Lake Lure (Use Google Maps...follow parking (2 vehicle limit per booking) instructions sent after booking).
- Washburn Marina (ROW-H, dock closest to the inflatable waterpark).
- Rumbling Bald Resort (public dock in front of the Cabana...right side only when looking out from land, park at Legends Restaurant, go down their steps to the dock).
- Rental Home Dock (we will float in a few minutes before your rental time).
